Cousins!

Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez have officially decided to go their separate ways by calling off their engagement permanently while remaining friends and working together professionally!

Within a joint statement forwarded to TODAY, the couple announced, “We have realized we are better as friends and look forward to remaining so. We will continue to work together and support each other on our shared businesses and projects. We wish the best for each other and one another’s children.’“

The statement continues, ‘Out of respect for them, the only other comment we have to say is thank you to everyone who has sent kind words and support.”

JLO and A-Rod had been together four years and had gotten engaged in 2019. According to TMZ the couple was scheduled to wed in early 2020 however the pandemic complicated things.

Despite circulating rumors in the past, sources close to the couple confirm that they both attempted to work things out before deciding to call it quits.
