Cousins! In a recently released interview singer and actress Keri Hilson was asked about the dated drama between her and Beyonce and would she be open to a potential collaboration opportunity in the future if it presented itself.

Keri responded, “ Yeah sure. Yes, absolutely. You know. She’s actually introduced herself. It was a gracious moment and I appreciated it. I feel like she understood what happened, what had transpired and there was a bit of healing in that moment.”

If you recall Keri underwent the ultimate wrath of the Bey-hive within the early stages of her career as social media users speculated that she had some blanketed beef with Beyoncé.

The issue derived from a remix of her hit single “Turning me on” where she sang, “Your vision cloudy if you think that you da best, You can dance, she can sing, but need to move it to the left…She need to go have some babies, she need to sit down, she fake, them other chicks ain’t even worth talkin’ bout.”

Though Keri never spoke directly in regards to the song, Beyoncé fans interpreted the lyrics were about her.

For over ten years Keri hasn’t released an album and has endured intense backlash on social media following the incident.

In 2013 Keri released multiple tweets that read, “It’s “TOO much!! Please! Is everything I tweet gonna be ‘intentionally misinterpreted’ as a statement about someone/drama I know nothing about?”

“You have no idea what your hateful words could do to someone’s spirit. Years of verbal abuse from strangers all day long. Enough is enough! I’m here for MY FANS! I’m stronger than you imagine, but waking up/going to bed to your ugliness is just TOO MUCH, kids,”

She continued. “I get it, OK? You can stop now. As far as WHATEVER your really mad about, I had my reasons. It’s been years! Just chalk it up to your ignorance of my reality and LET…IT…GO. As for my mistakes, God has dealt with me.”
