Following the release of the now viral elevator alteration video between former couple Saweetie and Quavo; Saweetie has broken her silence to address forwarded misconceptions of the incident!

According to TMZ Saweetie has stated, “This unfortunate incident happened a year ago, while we have reconciled since then and moved past this particular disagreement, there were simply too many other hurdles to overcome in our relationship and we have both since moved on.”

As we previously reported the couple decided to part ways last month after indications of infidelity were forwarded.

The public break up took place on Twitter in a series of tweets with Saweetie confirming, “I’m single. I’ve endured too much betrayal and hurt behind the scenes for a false narrative to be circulating that degrades my character. Presents don’t band aid scars and the love isn’t real when the intimacy is given to other women.”

Sources have confirmed that law enforcement investigated the elevator incident and believe that the situation may involve both Quavo and Saweetie being in the wrong.
