Cousins!

The woman now infamously known as Soho Karen is not getting away with her harmful act of wrongfully accusing a Black teen for the misplacing of her cellphone as they have now filed an official lawsuit!

As we previously reported Soho Karen also known as Miya Ponsetto accused a 14 year old Harrold Jr and his father on December 26th, 2020 as they stood in the lobby of the Arlo Hotel.

Within a viral clip of the incident uploaded to social media Soho Karen can be seen screaming at both the father and son while attempting to search the young boys pockets and even going as far as to tackle him.

The hotel manger didn’t diffuse the situation and also asking to see the teen’s phone. Ultimately the lost phone was later returned to the hotel by an Uber driver.

The Harrold family has accused Soho Karen for racial profiling and have stated that the incident has scared their son. They have filed a civil law suit for assault/ battery, false imprisonment, infliction of emotional distress and other loss, reports Revolt

They’re are also suing the Arlo Hotel for failure to provide a safe environment for their guests. The suit details that the hotel worker’s improper management of the encounter between Ponsetto and Harrold Jr. is also an issue.

Soho Karen is still facing criminal charges at this time for attacking the teen after also being charged with two counts of attempted assault, attempted robbery, grand larceny and endangering the welfare of a child.
