The world is set to receive a front row view into the life of iconic music superstar Janet Jackson soon, following breaking news that a two-part documentary dedicated to her story has been picked up by Lifetime and A&E!
The four hour project ”Janet,” is set for release in 2022 in a synced celebration of the official 40th year anniversary of her self titled album originally released in 1982, reports The Wrap.
Sources have confirmed that the documentary has been in the works for over three years and is said to cover all major milestones and controversial moments in Janet’s life.
From the infamous super bowl halftime show alongside Justin Timberlake and the horrific death of her brother Michael Jackson.
It has been indicated that the two part film will be directed by Ben Hirsch and premiered on both the Lifetime network and A&E.
There has been no specified date issued as of yet only the year 2022 has been confirmed at the time this article was published.
