Cousins!

The long-standing children’s literature franchise of Dr. Seuss has decided to stop publishing a total of six books due to their usage of racist, anti-semitic and insensitive imagery!

The News was announced Tuesday morning by Dr. Seuss enterprise, reports CNN.

Citing that the decision was made in efforts of making sure the Dr. Seuss legacy and catalog represents all communities and families.

“Ceasing sales of these books is only part of our commitment and our broader plan to ensure Dr. Seuss Enterprises’s catalog represents and supports all communities and families,” reads a statement from release.

The following titles will no longer be available for purchase because they, “portray people in ways that are hurtful and wrong.”

• “McElligot’s Pool”

• “On Beyond Zebra!”

• “Scrambled Eggs Super!”
