We’ve just gotten word of some pretty exciting news, the ‘Sister Act 3 film’ is officially on the way!

The news was announced and confirmed by Disney on Friday afternoon as they reveal the sequel will star Whoopi Goldberg to be produced by Tyler Perry, reports CBS.

Disenchanted, a sequel to the hit film Enchanted, will stream exclusively on @DisneyPlus. Amy Adams returns for more fantastical fun as Giselle! 👑

Sources have confirmed that the film will be available for streaming through Disney Plus.

As we previously reported in an interview with James Corden and Whoopi on the Late Late Show she had stated, “Because for a long time they kept saying no one wanted to see it.

Whoopi continues, “And then, quite recently, it turns out, that that may not be true. People might want to see it. So, we’re working diligently to try to figure out how to get the gang together and come back.”
