The Coldest Winter Ever is arguably one of the greatest urban novel’s ever released. The novel not only serves as a fan favorite for the past two decades but also an important and impactful staple of culture for young Black men and women.

We are both pleased and excited to share that original author, activist and artist Sister Souljah is set to release the highly anticipated and long awaited sequel to the novel.

Life After Death,’ will pick up where the original story left off surrounding the release of Winter Santiaga from prison.

Sources have confirmed that the story also promises to shed light on how Winter cope’s with her mother’s death and younger sister’s elevation.

The fourth coming book’s description reads, “Fans fell in love with the unforgettable Winter Santiaga, daughter of a prominent Brooklyn drug-dealing family, who captivated her lovers, friends, and enemies with her sexy street smarts. For two decades, fans have begged for answers about what happened to Winter.”

The description continues, “With her jail sentence coming to a close, Winter is ready to step back into the spotlight and reclaim her throne.”

The original book was released in 1999 and depicts the journey of a young woman from Brooklyn’s whose entire world changes once her father is indicted for federal drug charges.
