Fellow actress Holly Robinson Peete broke the news Monday afternoon in a tweet that read, “ Just absolutely decimated by this news. Actress Natalie Desselle, a bright shining star passed away this morning.”

The caption continues, “ I got to know her when my mom was managing her. She will be so missed.. sending prayers to her children and husband. Rest in peace, sweet girl..”

Natalie, 53 was well known for her roles in popular 90s films such as ‘BAPS’ , ‘How To Be A Player’ , ‘Set It Off’ and alongside Brandy in the Disney film ‘Cinderella’ . She also entered the television world with a role on the UPN series ‘EVE’.
