Tyler Perry is kicking off the holiday season giving back as he helps families in need by donating 5,000 Thanksgiving meals!

Tyler opened up the gates of his Studio in Atlanta on Sunday to local residents for #TSPGiving reports , the Daily Mail .

Sources have confirmed that along with meals Tyler donated full boxes of holidays supplies and gift cards.

Reports read that thousands of residents lined up in their cars the night before the event to secure their spot. The event ran from the hours of 8AM to 12PM noon.

Tyler is well known for his numerous generous acts of giving back but this year is a bit different due to the unpredictable circumstances surrounding the global pandemic.
