It is with extreme regret and complete sadness that we inform you all of the sudden passing of beloved actor Bert Belasco at only 38 years old!

The former star of BET’s popular series Let’s Stay Together’ father Bert SR. has come forward to state that his son’s body was discovered Sunday within a hotel located in Richmond, Virginia; reports TMZ.

It appears that Bert was on location for an upcoming project and that he was currently under quarantine before he could be approved to work on set.

Sources have confirmed that the cause of Bert’s death are unknown at this time as a pending autopsy is underway.

Reports read that Bert’s girlfriend requested for the Hotel’s staff to check in on him after she grew worried from not being able to contact him. It has been indicated that blood was found on the sheets alongside Bert’s body.

Bert SR. fears that his son suffered from an aneurysm.

Bert was well known within the acting community as he appeared in multiple television series and films throughout his career.
