The New York Police Department is currently searching for answers as two new born babies were found dead and alone in an apartment building wrapped up in brown paper recently!

According to ABC News the baby boys were discovered around 1:45PM EST at 1460 College Avenue within the Bronx.

Sources have confirmed that the on-site superintendent found the babies alone on the back of a patio. It has been indicated from surrounding evidence that the babies were just born.

Reports read that the babies were immediately rushed to Bronx Lebanon Hospital but were unfortunately pronounced dead upon arrival.

There has been no ruling upon their cause of death as of yet, as a medical examiner has yet to determine further details.

Police officials are currently searching for the boy’s mother. There has been no confirmation of if the baby boys were twins.
