If your one of the responsible friends in your group chat that has been unknowingly handed the duty of paying for the super streaming service of Netflix each month, listen up as their rates are increasing in prices pretty soon!

According to CNBC, Netflix raised their standard prices from $12.99 to $15.99 and their premium plans from $15.99 to $17.99.

Sources have confirmed that each Netflix subscriber will be informed of the price increase within the next two months, along with a 30 day warning prior to the official change.

It has been indicated that the basic level plan will remain at its normal rate of $8.99. The original basic, standard and premium plans were going for $8, $11 and $ 14 until its increase in January 2019.

Reports read that the basic plan allows 480p , the standard plan offers two screens to watch 1080p quality at the same time and the premium plan allow 4 screens with 4k resolution.
