Numerous Nigerian natives and celebrities are currently hitting the pavement as they protest an end to police brutality within their country!

According to CNN , the protests have been taking place across the country following direct claims of rapid kidnapping, harassment and extortion on behalf of police officials.

Sources have confirmed that a protest took place on Thursday led by lawyer and singer Folarin Falana in #Lagos Island. He was also joined by well known performer #TiwaSavage .

Falana tells local news, “too many numerous incidents of harassment, extortion and police brutality.”

He continues, “People have been posting online about it for years, but it has been the same sluggish attitude and response to it. Nothing has changed and people keep on being harassed. That’s why we have taken to the streets and we want the government to listen.”
