Charges Put On Hold For Bronx Grandfather That Took Dying Toddler On 2 Hour Ride To Queens Hospital!

A Bronx grandfather is currently facing potential charges of child endangerment after driving a dying three year old little girl on a two hour ride to Queens hospital instead of dialing 911!

The incident took place on September 24th as Jaylynn Evans passed out that Thursday morning after attending a sleep over with her bestfriend and granddaughter of Anthony Richardson, reports the Daily News.

Sources have confirmed that Richardson, 59 took Jaylynn on a two hour car ride from his home in Mott Haven to Cohen’s Children’s Medical Center located into Little Neck.

Reports read that investigators are currently trying to determine why Richardson didn’t call 911 or take the young girl to the nearest hospital of Lincoln Medical center which was less than a mile from where he resides.

Jaylnn’s mother Tyanna Lloyd, 20 has come forward to state, “ He didn’t mean no harm. That’s the hospital he takes all of the kids to if they get sick of anything like that, he goes straight to that hospital because he knows it’s good for the kids.”

Though the Medical Examiner hasn’t yet ruled the cause of death, Tyana states that her daughter had taken some medicine for low grade fever prior to the sleep over. She states that Jaylynn was feeling better than when she left.

Tyana also states that she believes Jaylynn contracted COVID-19 from daycare as the toddler had tested positive for the virus earlier this week.

Richardson was released from police custody on Friday night.
