Cousins;
we’ve got some exciting news; it appears a new day is upon us within the life and times of #Batman as an academy award winning writer has recently hinted at a Black hero saving the day within a newly created series!
According to TMZ ; “ 12 Days A Slave” writer #JohnRidley is currently working on a 4 issue-limited release comic series with an all new character and hero he believes to be a Black man.
Sources have confirmed that Ridley made a statement recently during an online Fandome event, “I think it’s a pretty safe bet that if I’m writing Batman, it’s probably a little better than a 47 percent chance he’s going to be a person of color.”
Though confirmation of the character wasn’t fully finalized, if you are familiar with the previous Batman story line you can recall the character of Lucious Fox and his family.
Lucious’s character is remembered from previous comics and Batman films even once portrayed by #MorganFreeman. He was the head of Wayne Enterprises and his young son Luke also known as Batwing played the sidekick of Batsy. It is believed that the story will pick up from there.
It has been indicated that the new series will be released early 2021 in January.
