#CardiB is making her rounds and checking them twice as she has recently sat down for a one on one interview with the 2020 Presidential candidate #JoeBiden , to discuss the issues of racism, police brutality, COVID-19, education, healthcare and society’s dyer need for a newly elected President the people can trust!
Within the Elle Magazine September 2020 issue Cardi made it clear her dislike of #45 and his confusing approach to societal issues. She reflects on how #45’s insights on COVID-19 impacted residents within a negative way solely because he wasn’t truthful. “Tell me the truth, the hard-core truth.”
Cardi expresses the importance of free healthcare and education, “When you see the taxes coming off your check, you don’t understand, because you feel like you’re putting in so many hours. People want to know, can you provide college education, this [health care] plan, without a big chunk of taxes coming out of our checks?”
Biden responded by stating, “Yes, we can,” Biden responded. “And the way we can pay for all of this is doing practical things, like making sure that everybody has to pay their fair share. If I get elected president, anybody with a family making less than 125 grand, you’re going to get free education,” he said. “And everybody gets free community college.”
Further within their discussion Cardi addresses the pressing issue of racism and ultimately the way Black people are treated. “Black people are just asking for equality, fairness, and justice, that is all. I feel like everything people are asking for is getting interpreted in a very different way. No, it’s simple: We just want justice. We want to feel like Americans.”
Biden then stated that he believes the present generation has the power to change the world around us. “You’re the smartest, the best educated, the least prejudiced, and the most engaged generation in history. And you’re going to change things.”
