As the fight for justice continues on behalf of Louisville, Kentucky resident #BreonnaTaylor, it has recently been announced that her petition has passed over 10 million signatures declaring it the second highest in the site’s history!

According to NBC News, the petition was originally created by law student Loralei Hojay. The petition directly calls for the officers involved within Breonna’s death to be fired and arrested.

As we’ve previously reported, Breonna was shot by Louisville police officers while she was sleeping in her own home back in March. Though one of the officers were fired within June upon the act of “ wantonly and blindly” shooting into Breonna’s home, it still doesn’t rectify the fact that no one has been charged for her murder.

Sources have confirmed that the online petition addresses Trump, Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear, State Attorney General Daniel and more.

Reports read that Breonna’s petition comes directly after police brutality victim George Floyd that received over 19 million signatures.
