#BlackTwitter Reacts To Nelly VERZUZ Ludacris Music Battle!

Last night the only place to be was either glued to your phone, computer or TV screen as legendary artists #Nelly and #Ludacris went song for song in a highly anticipated VERZUZ music battle!

Both artist did an amazing job of not only reminding us of how they changed the sound of music forever, but also taking us back to long lived memories, feelings and emotions that we all experienced over 15 years ago. From throwback jerseys, air force ones and Luda even picking his fro out; both men reminded us how damn good the early 2000s era really was.

However Nelly also reminder us on his own how far of a place good WiFi has come and why we as a people shall never accept nothing less.

In between unexpected shift changes Luda blessed us with an newly unreleased track featuring Lil Wayne named “ Silence of the lambs” and a track he and Chicago native #ChanceTheRapper collages on.

Meanwhile for the last round or two Nelly debut some songs that not too many fans were familiar with. Which also resulted in social media users speaking on the songs he should’ve played but ultimately didn’t.

All in all it was a historical night, where both men commended on another for the contributions they’ve made to music and the overall culture within their careers.

“Your longevity is impeccable, it’s worth commending, you know what I mean?” Nelly stated to Ludacris. “You bust ass every year to make sure you were coming for the No. 1 spot … It’s my pleasure and it’s an honor today, my brother, to be rocking with you. I’m glad that our rookie class is the best class of our hip-hop era.”

Talks of a joint tour in the near future came up in conversation a few times during the battle also as numerous fans applauded the idea. We’ll definitely keep our eyes and ears open for that one.
