Retired basketball legend #ShaquilleONeal has recently opened his heart to a family in need of financial assistance following a tragic accident that recently claimed the lives of two young children!
Trayvon, 12 and Keshon Batiste, 11 of Louisiana we’re involved in a car accident a few weeks ago where a car occupied by an adult driver and four under age passengers ran a stop sign near Breaux and Bridge, LA; reports TMZ. Sources have confirmed that the car crashed into a ditch and then a tree which resulted in the death of both Trayvon and Keshon, they were ultimately pronounced dead on the scene.
It has been indicated that retired chief deputy officer of Lafayette City’s Marshall’s Office Phil Conrad issued information that Shaq had forwarded a few thousand dollars to help pay off the remaining balance of the boys funeral costs.
Conrad has stated that Trayvon’s family obtained insurance that fully covered his burial and Keshon’s family started a GoFundMe page to raise money for his. Unfortunately his family was shy of $4,000 to successfully reach their goal.
Phil states Shaq contacted him directly for the surrounding details of the horrific incident. He concludes that Shaq acted quickly and wired the remaining balance of the funeral costs to him. Phil then directly delivered the money to the Funeral home that would handle Keshon’s burial.
Both Keshon and Trayvon we’re officially buried on Saturday.
