It appears that NBA players days of being bored in the house and in the house bored are expected to come to ending soon, after a recent announcement to re-open practice facilities within specified areas as soon as next Friday have recently been confirmed!
According to ESPN News, facilities located within states that are currently practicing less intense stay at home orders at this time during the #Coronavirus crisis will be available to players.
Reports read that facilities are scheduled to reopen within the state of Georgia, where players will be able to conduct individual workouts, which can potentially allow NBA officials to conduct professional trainings for their teams.
Until further notice, teams will not be allowed to participate in group workouts and are ordered to continue social distancing. Sources have confirmed that the organization is currently working on alternatives to create specific arrangements for each player.
It has been noted that the NBA’s decision to reopen specific facilities derive from the notion that the these spaces have been marked as safe space during the pandemic. However multiple general managers disagree with the decision wholeheartedly and have expressed their concerns.
