The #Coronavirus pandemic is continuously affecting the world right now however, the Black community is being hit the hardest. With the death toll of African Americans currently sky rocketing each day, lack of necessary equipment, gear and resources issued to residents and essential workers, the Black community is suffering tremendously. Ultimately we can’t wait on the rest of the world or government officials to save us, we have to do what we have always done and that’s SAVE OURSELVES!

Tonight is the night as the industries most elite all star actors, singers, and moguls pair up to make a difference within the community, while putting on for the overall culture; a BET coronavirus relief benefit special titled Saving Our Selves: A BET COVID-19 Effort!

Black-ish star Anthony Anderson, Regina Hall, Kelly Rowland and Terrence J have been named the show’s host of the evening. Alicia Keys, Jhene Aiko, John Legend, Usher, Tyrese, Chloe x Halle, H.E.R, Ella Mai, Charlie Wilson and many more are schedule to take center stage to perform report Entertainment Weekly.

Sources have confirmed that the network has organized an elite all-star gospel performance set to feature Kirk Franklin, Kelly Price and Fantasia. It has also been noted that public figures such as Ciara, Tiffany Haddish, DJ Khaled, Chance The Rapper and Don Cheadle will also be apart of the special.

The overall objective of the evening is help provide assistance to Black Americans in need, who have been physically and financially affected by the pandemic widespread.
