Friday evening within a virtual streaming special of the #WNBA ‘s draft pick on #ESPN , helicopter victims and student athletes #GiannaBryant , #AlyssaAltobelli and #PaytonChester were named honorary picks!
The special opened up with a very emotional speech by the late #KobeBryant ‘s wife #VanessaBryant , alongside highlighted footage of the girls games and past practices.
With tears of joy and sadness in her eyes Vanessa spoke on how happy she was that Gigi’s dream officially came true. Also that the dreams the teenage girls worked so hard towards had finally taken place.
