#KanyeWest is taking the initiative of lending a helping hand to those in need during these times of uncertainty, by donating to multiple charities in both Chicago and Los Angeles within efforts of feeding thousands of individuals directly affected by the #Coronavirus pandemic!
Kanye has paired up with the local charity organization of We Women Empowerment orchestrated by Josephine “Mother” Wade, reports HYPE BEAST. It has been indicated that Wade helps deliver a total of three meals each day to victims of the COVID-19 and seniors within South-Side Chicago.
Sources have confirmed that We Women works alongside another local business ran by Wade named Josephine’s Southern Cooking which functions as food delivery service company. It has been noted that the company also offers wellness services to the community’s elderly members.
“Today when I got that call, that Kanye West wanted to help the elderly in Chicago and he chose his hometown in the South Side, his old neighborhood, I was beyond words,” states Wade with excitement to local news.“And in one phone call, in an instant today, our world was changed.”
It has also been concluded that West has donated to the charity of The Dream Center located in Echo Park, Los Angeles. The Dream Center operates as a 7 days a week drive through food service center that serves meals for victims affected by the virus. It has been indicated that the charity helps issue over 7,000 meals a day with hopes of feeding close to 10,000 soon.
