The iconic powerhouse #JenniferHudson will be taking center stage this weekend at the 2020 NBA all-star game within a special tribute to the legendary #KobeBryant , his daughter #GiannaBryant and the 7 other victims of the tragic helicopter aqccident!
According to CNN News, the National Basketball Association confirmed Thursday afternoon that Hudson’s performance will take place ahead of the players introductions as she is set to open the show.
Kobe Bryant, Gianna Bryant , Christina Mauser; Payton Chester, Sarah Chester, Alyssa Altobelli, John and Keri Altobelli; and Zobayan passed away Jan.26th, 2020 after enduring a horrific chopper accident outside of Calabasas, California while traveling to Mamba University.
The 2020 all star game will take place in Chicago, Illinois consisting of multiple Chicago natives and celebrities taking heed within the musical aspects of the show. Amongst that list is Chicago native, rapper and actor #Common, kicking off the festivities while providing a background story of basketball and it’s relationship with Chicago residents.
It has been indicated that Grammy Award winning artist Chaka Khan is also set to sing the National anthem. Recording artists Chance The Rapper, Migos member Quavo, and Lil Wayne are set to perform during half time.
The All Star Game is scheduled to take place Sunday Feb.16th at the United Center; airing live at 8 p.m. ET on TNT!
