#Cousins ; as of Thursday afternoon the much talked about Coronavirus has officially been declared a global health emergency by the World Health Organization!
The original outbreak of the virus occurred in China at an animal and seafood market located in Wuhan; reports Fox News. Reports read that as of Thursday a total of 170 people have died and another 7,834 individuals have been infected by the virus. It has been noted that a vast majority of the victims infected have derived directly from China. However it has recently spread to a total of 98 people in countries such as Germany, Japan, Vietnam and the U.S
“The main reason is not what is happening in China what is happening in other countries,” states WHO chief Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus within a news conference in Geneva, Switzerland.
He continues, “Our greatest concern is the potential for the virus to spread to countries with weaker health systems, and which are ill-prepared to deal with it.”
Sources have confirmed that the Coronavirus also identified as 2019-nCoV is now transferable between humans. The leading symptoms are equivalent to the common cold such as high tempered fevers and headaches Etc.
Reports read that there are currently 98 cases of the virus outside of China including Germany, Japan, Vietnam and the U.S. However there have been no deaths outside of China at the hands of the disease.
It has been highlighted that the United States currently confirmed six cases of the virus. Two cases in California, one in Arizona, one in Washington state and two in Illinois.
