The super streaming service of Netflix has officially clapped back at beloved comedian and actress #MoNique upon her lawsuit pertaining to accusations of racial and gender discrimination!

According to The Blast; MoNique’s lawsuit accused Netflix of only offering her $500,000 for a comedy special as oppose to her male counterparts who were paid 3-5x more including White female comedians.

Netflix has officially filed to forward motion against MoNique’s claims and lawsuit within its entirety. Court documents obtained by The Blast state, “Plaintiff fails, however, to allege any facts showing that the compensation offered her was the product of discrimination. To the contrary, her Complaint contradicts its core premise by noting that other persons of color, other women, and another African- American woman (like Plaintiff) have been paid substantially more money to create comedy specials for Netflix’s streaming service than what was offered to Plaintiff. And Plaintiff fails to explain why she was entitled to be offered what the stars to whom she compares herself were offered for creating such comedy specials.”

It has been indicated that Netflix has substantial proof to show that MoNique was not discriminated against on any count.
