Queens, New York Male Hangs Himself From Lamppost Along Highway Following An Argument With His Wife!

A series of unfortunate events has left a Queens, New York man dead after taking his own life following an argument with his wife!

According to the #NewYorkPost ; James Mullaney’s body was discovered early Monday morning upon the Brooklyn-Queens Expressway during rush hour. Sources have indicated that it was Mullaney’s wife that actually noticed his lifeless body dangling from a lamppost on the highway due to an apparent suicide.

Reports read that Mullaney’s wife contacted police officials after discovering the gruesome scene. She stopped at a nearby Burger-king parking lot near Exit 42 by Northern Boulevard in Woodside and used the GPS to track her husband’s cellphone. She informed dispatch that her husband was hanging from a lamppost and that she could see his face.

Members from the Emergency Service Unit shortly arrived and announced Mullaney dead at the scene around 8:20 AM. Sources have indicated that the incident took place roughly 2 miles away from his home.

Reports read that Mullaney and his wife had an argument around 3PM on Sunday afternoon and that was the last time he was seen alive.

His wife is completely shaken up by the situation and has been lost for words since discovering his body.

“I just really don’t want to talk about it,” she tells local news. “I don’t know anything. I’m not really up for talking.”

Multiple residents have come forward within complete shock after news broke of the incident.

“I’m like shocked. I was like ‘Woah really?’ I have goosebumps all over right now. It’s crazy. It’s really sad,” states a local resident.

“I know a lot of New Yorkers, and people, they go through a lot of stuff, and people are stressed out. They don’t want to go through it…[but] there’s help. It’s sad that even though there’s help, they don’t want to go get it. It’s sad.”
