#HussleAndMotivate : Nipsey Hussle’s “Victory Lap” Album Is Officially Certified Platinum!

The tragic death of beloved artist and mogul #NipseyHussle still sits heavy on all of us to this day. However even after death Nipsey’s legacy continues to strive momentously while reaching peaks that he rightfully deserves both within the industry and society.

It has recently been announced that Nip’s debut album and final project Victory Lap has officially been deemed certified platinum.


According to Revolt, Victory Lap sat at the number one spot for weeks after his passing. With hit singles “Racks In the Middle,” “Double Up” and “Grinding All My Life,” also earning spots on both iTunes and Spotify charts.

Sources have confirmed that Nip also gained 10 million audio streams on the day that he passed and 57 million more the day after. His video streams jumped from 900,000 views to 9.7 million on the day he was murdered.

Around this time last year Nipsey was nominated for a Grammy for Best Rap Album. Fast forward to this year he is now nominated for three: Racks In The Middle” is nominated for Best Rap Song and Best Rap Performance and “Higher” is nominated for Best Rap/Sung Performance.

Nipsey’s fans, close friends and family have also took to social media to celebrate this achievement. His longtime girlfriend Lauren London posted on her Instagram story the official Victory Lap album cover with the word “ Period.” plastered across it.
