Two #BuffaloWildWings employees have been officially terminated; for not only lack of better judgement but for forcing a table full of black people to move their seats in order to please white customers!

#NBCNews reports Mary Vahl of #Chicago Illinois took to Facebook to speak on the Oct 26th incident at the restaurant. Sources have indicated that she was amongst a party of 18 which she described as being “ a group of minorities” within her post.

Vahl states that the host was in the middle of setting up the table when they were informed that a regular customer within a party of two stated that they didn’t want to sit next to them because they were black. She states that they sat there anyway.

“We don’t give him the satisfaction and told the host we’ll sit where they set us up,” she wrote on Facebook.

Within moments of ordering a few items off the menu they were asked again to move; but they declined.
“It was not ok that that a person of management was willing to move 6 adults and 12 children versus 2 grown adults who are uncomfortable sitting by black folks,” she states within her Facebook.

Ultimately the Manager implicated an excuse of some sort where the table was forced to change seats. Instead Vahl and her party decided to leave and dine at Hooters.

“In 2019, this type of behavior should not be accepted,” she wrote. “If you don’t want to sit next to certain people in a public restaurant then you should probably eat dinner in the comfort of your own home.”

Reports read that since the incident transpired both the Manager and shift manager were terminated following an investigation by the company.

“We take this incident very seriously and after conducting a thorough, internal investigation have terminated the employees involved,” states the Buffalo Wild Wings spokesperson said. “Buffalo Wild Wings values an inclusive environment and has zero tolerance for discrimination of any kind.”
