A #Maryland man has been pronounced dead after a fight erupted outside in the parking lot of a #Popeyes due to the popular chicken sandwhich!
According to #NBCNews , a 28 year old unidentified man has been stabbed to death during the altercation. The incident took place at Oxon Hill, outside of #WashingtonDC on Monday night; states Prince George Police Department officials.
It has been indicated that the fight began after someone cut in line. “For you to get that angry over anything — for that type of anger to develop into this type of violence, again is a very sad and tragic day,” says the Police Department spokeswoman Jennifer Donelan.
She states the fight initially began inside and then moved outside. The man was later rushed to the hospital where he died.
“We do not yet know whether this was the result of a dispute over one of our products or something unrelated, but there is no reason for someone to lose their life on a Monday night in a parking lot,” Popeyes said in a statement to NBC News. “Our thoughts are with the victim’s family and friends and we are fully cooperating with local authorities.”
Unfortunately there have been no arrests made at this time.

The popular chicken sandwich made its return Saturday Nov. 2nd after being completely sold out since Aug. The sandwich became a hit after word spread across the board through #BlackTwitter.
