Elementary Teachers End Of Year Photo With Noose Identified As Joke And Not Racist!

What is the world coming to when entrusted educators are able to pose freely with an objectionable historical figure, while being completely oblivious to the centuries worth of pain and horror it has caused for an entire race of people?

The #AtlantaBlackStar reports that four #California teachers of Three Summerwind Elementary School happily posed for a disgraceful “end of the year joke” photo while happily using a noose as a prop. Sources have confirmed that the photo was snapped by the school’s principle Linda Brandt. The photo was originally sent out within a text, email blast and then made its way to social media. It wasn’t long before parents of students caught wind of the photo and came forward within complete outrage.

“We want (Brandt) out of here. I do personally!” states concerned parent Darrin Harper to FOX 11 news. “Because I know what she about. The pictures prove it, that’s what she about and that’s what she allow to go on. So she need to go.”

Local activist Najee Ali has come forward to state, “It’s hard for me to believe that out of the four teachers [and] one principal who were investigated, that not one of them understood the horrible, racial implications on what the noose means for African-Americans, historically,” he continues

“I think at the end of the day, we need to have an outside department look into investigating this further to really have the entire truth come out.”

Reports read that an internal investigation was conducted and ruled the ordeal as non racist. The four educators state that they just so happen to stumble across the noose while they were cleaning out storage for the end of the school year. One of the unnamed teachers showed the former Principal Brandt the object and then they both acted out the “ hang in there joke.”

The four unnamed teachers are still under suspension and former principal Brandt resigned shortly after the incident began to erupt.

An outside investigation has been requested by local activists.
