#Family ; it looks like we’re at the crossroads with another “ Say it ain’t so” moment. #Netflix has recently concluded that there will not be a season three renewal for #SpikeLee’s original series She’s Gotta Have It.
According to #Deadline ; Ted Sarandos, Chief Content Officer Of Netflix has stated, “Spike Lee is one of the greatest filmmakers of all time and we’re thrilled he brought the series She’s Gotta Have It.”
“While this is our last season, we’re very proud that it will be on our service for years to come, and excited to be working with Spike on his upcoming Netflix film Da 5 Bloods.”
Sources have indicated that #SpikeLee is currently shopping around for a new home for the series. However; despite the sudden news he’s stated to still be in business with Netflix upon his upcoming film Da 5 Bloods.
She’s Gotta Have It series derived directly from Spike’s original featured film created in 1986. Similar to the series the film depicts the life of Nola Darling; a free spirited woman with a mind of her own and the world at her feet.
