According to #SBSNews ; a triple suicide bombing took place in the northeastern sector of Nigeria late Sunday evening. Sources have indicated that the incident took place outside a hall in Konduga, stared to be 38KM from the Borno state capital Maiduguri where numerous people were attending a football game.
It has been stated that two of the three suicide bombers maneuvered their way into a crowd of people then proceeding to detonate their vests. The other suicide bomber is stated to have been in a heated argument with the operator before blowing himself up.
“Nine people died on the spot, including the operator, and 48 were injured,” states Ali Hassan, the leader of a self-defence group. “Lack of an appropriate health facility to handle such huge emergency situation and the delay in obtaining security clearance to enable us deploy from Maiduguri in good time led to the high death toll,” he states.
