According to #NewsWeek ; T.i paired up with #LoveAndHipHopATL cast member #ScrapDeleon alongside a local church to help make the Easter holiday a little more brighter. Starting out with a $40,000 fundraising collaborative goal quickly excelled to a total of $120,000. The funds were forwarded directly to a Bail Out Program and were used to help free a total of 16 men and 7 women. Sources state that majority of the released inmates were first time offenders who were ordered to serve heavy sentences deriving from areas in such as: DeKalb, Fulton, Gwinnett and Rockdale counties.
Tyron Pollard was amongst the released men and stated within an interview with local news that he deemed this as a blessing and an opportunity towards a clean slate. “I was doing drugs before I got locked up… but I don’t want to do nothing but do right and strive to be a model citizen for my kids,” states Pollard. “For people to just reach out, willing to help out of the blue, them not knowing you from nobody…that’s a blessing
