Our Forever Flotus #MichelleObama has been making her rounds creating history and overcoming obstacles; not only as a First Lady, best selling author and fashionista. Michelle has now successfully attained the title of being the first Obama to have a facility in #Chicago dedicated to her.
According to #EbonyMagazine , Chicago Whitney Young Magnet High School which also serves as Michelle’s alma matter recently announced it will be naming a newly constructed facility on her behalf. Sources have indicated that the $4.3 million facility will serve as an athletic complex. Michelle recently visted the school during the beginning stages of her book tour for her best seller “ Becoming.”
“We’re really excited about this,” states Whitney Young Principal Joyce Kenner she goes on to state that they’ve initially forwarded the honor to Michelle upon her most recent visit. Stating that Michelle was both eager and excited to receive such an honor especially one that intertwines fitness and education.
