We all watched in awe Sunday night and early Monday morning as numerous headlines read #R&B singer #ChrisBrown has been accused of rape! “ With all that has come to light in the past few weeks of intense and horrifying sexual harassment stories, we were hoping that the allegations were anything but true.
According to #HuffPost , Brown alongside two other suspects we’re detained by #Paris , France officials on Monday. The men were set to face charges of aggravated rape and drug offense. Sources have indicated a woman had come forward to officials to file a complaint which states she was drugged and rapped within the singers hotel room by the group. The woman claims she was raped on the evening of Jan.15, at the Mandarin Oriental hotel. Also stating she met Brown that night at a nearby nightclub.
Brown was later released on Tuesday night without charges from the prosecution team. Brown shortly took to Instagram to post a direct image and caption that read “ That ______ is lying! “I WANNA MAKE IT PERFECTLY CLEAR,” he wrote. “THIS IS FALSE AND A WHOLE LOT OF CAP! … FOR MY DAUGHTER AND MY FAMILY THIS IS SO DISPRESPECTFUL [sic] AND IS AGAINST MY CHARACTER AND MORALS!!!!!” Brown’s attorney Raphael Chiche , issued a forwarded statement upon his release : “Chris Brown is free. No lawsuits were filed against him, he vigorously challenges the charges against him. A complaint for slanderous denunciation will be filed tomorrow with the public prosecutor of Paris. “ Upon Brown’s release he was ordered to leave the country, the investigation is still on going.
