Congratulations are in order for Brooke Valentine and Marcus Black as the couple prepares to welcome another addition to their family.
The couple recently shared the pregnancy news through an Instagram video that featured their entire family while saving Brooke’s growing baby bump for the main finame. The post read, “Loading,” as they revealed they were preparing to welcome another addition to their family.
Just a couple of weeks ago couple teased that they had big news to share, writing, “Y’all asked… we answered. Our family is growing,” they wrote. “Yall know yall cousin @4everbrooke likes to go into hibernation in these seasons, but we’ve decided to bring yall on the journey with us. Follow it all on The Blackprint.”
Back in 2021, Brooke opened up about the difficulties she faced during both of her pregnancies.
“My pregnancies with London versus Chi, they were both high-risk for different reasons.”
“With London, I had something called placenta previa, where the placenta is covering the exit, which is scary. So I had that with him. Then, with Chi, it was simply high-risk because of high blood pressure and my age.”
“It was a lot,” Brooke recalled. “It was stressful. My son is special needs [because] he had a stroke at birth. So London’s journey started right away.
“The journey of him being rehabilitated from this stroke started immediately. With Chi Summer, it was a bit different because she was totally fine. [She] just went on [while] I was in the hospital. She was waiting for me to get out.”
Thought she faced difficulties within her previous pregnancies, Brooke admitted that her and Marcus agreed on wanting more kids.
“I want more kids, but I think Marcus and I met too late. “[Our relationship] developed pretty fast. So we didn’t get a lot of time to just be young and silly together. So we kind of have to wait until the kids grow up before we can just be nude on the beach.”
