Six Teens Wounded In Brooklyn Mass Shooting After Attending 16th Birthday Party!

Noir Nation, a neighborhood in Brooklyn is currently searching answers after a mass shooting left six teenagers injured early Sunday morning!

The chaos unfolded around 1 a.m. outside Burbuja Events in Cypress Hills, shortly after a 16th birthday celebration wrapped up reports CBS News.

The evening that started out as a celebration of joy and togetherness ended in pure chaos as multiple gunmen dressed in dark clothing opened fire on teens leaving the party. The victims, aged 15 to 17, include two 15-year-old girls, one 15-year-old boy, two 16-year-old boys, and one 17-year-old boy. One of the girls was struck multiple times, including in her chest, hip, and leg, while others sustained injuries to arms, legs, and feet.

All six teens were rushed to Brookdale University and Kings County hospitals, where officials report they are currently in stable condition. Police say the shooters fled the scene and remain at large; investigators are reviewing surveillance footage and interviewing witnesses.

Burbuja Events management confirmed that no shots were fired inside the venue and assured that they are fully cooperating with the NYPD’s 75th Precinct and Brooklyn North Night Watch.  “We extend our deepest sympathies to those affected by this incident and hope for the swift recovery and safety of all involved,” said management in a statement to CBS News.

City Council Member Yusef Salaam took to social media following the tragic series of events, stating that he was “deeply disturbed” by the shooting in a statement.

“My heart is with the victims and their families, and I am relieved they are in stable condition. No young person should ever be harmed in their own neighborhood. We must continue to invest in prevention, youth support, and accountability to keep our communities safe.”
