Tory Lanez To Serve Full 10 Years Sentence After Court Denies Appeal In Megan Thee Stallion Shooting Case!

The verdict is in! In response to Tory Lanez appeal for the 2020 Megan Thee Stallion shooting case, it has officially been determined, that he shall remain behind bars and ride out the full 10-year prison sentence handed to him!

📄 Appeals Denied

Tory had argued that key evidence and testimonies during his trial were mishandled, claiming procedural errors affected the fairness of the original proceedings. His legal team has moved to overturn the conviction or, at least minimize his ten year prison bid. According to ABC News, three judge panel from the California 2nd District Court of appeals however, was not convinced. In a direct ruling, the judges upheld the lower court’s decision, explaining that even if there were errors present within the trial it would not have changed the outcome.

💥 Incident That Sparked Outrage

As previously reported Tory was put behind bars following a 2020 incident where him and Megan attended a pool party at Kylie Jenner’s home in Los Angeles. Upon leaving the party it has been stated that Tory, Megan and her friend Kelsey got into a dispute while riding together in a vehicle. A heated exchange turned for the worse as Megan exited the car and Tory released multiple gun shots at her feet.

The Houston, Texas native on trial that she Tory opened fire at the back of her feet while demanding her to dance as she walked away from the vehicle.

Despite Tory’s continous claims of innocence, in December 2022 he was convicted of three felonies including assault with a semiautomatic firearm; having a loaded, unregistered firearm in a vehicle and discharging a firearm with gross negligence. He was sentenced to 10 years in prison.
