After one dynamic season, the CBS network has decided to end ‘Poppa’s House,’ starring the father-son duo of Damon Wayans and Damon Wayans Jr!
‘Poppa’s House’ cancelation was announced early Tuesday afternoon (April 22nd) by Deadline——while other shows on NBC’s scripted series lineup were renewed for an additional season.
Sources state that the Wayans’ family had hoped to secure the comedy slot as apart of the network’s 2025-2026 schedule. The news comes as a shock to fans especially after ‘Poppa’s House’ received an order for five additional episodes in November—-successfully earning the show a full first season.
