Trevor Jackson is making his way back to our television screens following reports that he’s set to join the cast of ABC’s long standing medical drama ‘ Grey’s’ Anatomy.
According to exclusive reports from Deadline, Trevor will appear in the season 21 finale. The 28-year-old also has the option of signing on as a series regular as the show has been renewed for another season.
Though minimal details have been provided at this time, Trevor’s new character is described as a “handsome, intelligent, but arrogant man in his late 20s who has just moved to Seattle.
The fan favorite series was officially renewed for its 22nd season on Thursday (April 3rd) reports Variety. ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ has continued to break records for the longest drama in TV history since 2019–including the longest running primetime scripted series in ABC history since originally debuting in 2005.
“The loyalty and love of ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ fans has propelled us into a historic 21st season, and I could not be more grateful,” said series creator and executive producer Shonda Rhimes.
“Meg Marinis’ storytelling is a gift that continues to keep the show vibrant, compelling and alive, and I can’t wait to see what she has in store for next season.”
