Ray J Detained By LAPD Following A Heated Exchange With Princess Love!

Los Angeles Police officials were recently called to the home of Ray J and Princess Love as the two exchanged words within a heated argument!

Officers state that Princess contacted local police upon claims of Ray J aggressively yelling while possibly under the influence, reports TMZ It has been indicated that the two were arguing about their pending divorce.

Sources state that upon officers’ arrival, Ray J was detained and placed in a police car with handcuffs to de-escalate the situation between the estranged couple.

Reports read that after speaking to both Ray J and Princess separately, officers determined that no crime had been committed. In a video shared across social media Ray J can be seen being taken out of cuffs and thanking each officer for their assistance.

Authorities state that a domestic violence incident was taken for protocol and that Ray J was never placed under arrest.

Neither Ray J or Princess Love have publicly addressed the incident.

The couple tied the knot in 2016 and welcomed two children together Melody and Epik Norwood.

“I feel like this time is different from other times because this time, I didn’t do it out of anger,” said Princess in a February 2025 interview with Carlos King. “…I was in a place in my life to where I was like, ‘All these dudes, they all lie [so] I might as well be with the father of my kids.’ But I’m like, no, I don’t deserve that. I deserve to be happy, and if being happy is by myself, then so be it.”

Ray J is currently on tour with Bow Wow, Trey Songz, Omarion, Sammie, Bobby Valentino, and Pleasure-P for the Millennium Tour.
