January 6th Capitol Rioters Explains Why She Has Refused The Pardon From Trump Administration; Says “MAGA Is A Cult”

A January 6th Capitol rioter has decided to reject Donald Trump executive order to pardon participants!

71-year-old Pam Hemphill was previously sentenced to sixty days in prison along with a $500 fine and three years probation after storming the Capitol on January 6th, 2021. Following Trump’s first few days in office for his second term as President, he has moved to pardon a total of 1,500 rioters.

While appearing in a recent interview, Pam explained why she has decided to reject Trump’s pardon in taking accountability for her actions. “I plead guilty. I am guilty”

“Accepting the pardon would be an insult to the Capitol Police officers, to the rule of law, to our nation,” Hemphill, 71, said Tuesday, per the Idaho Statesman.

“The J6 criminals are trying to rewrite history by saying that it was not a riot; it wasn’t an insurrection. I don’t want to be a part of their trying to rewrite what happened that day.”

Previously identities as MAGA Granny, Pam is said to have posted a video of herself entering the Capitol on social media on Jan. 6, 2021. She pleaded guilty to one misdemeanor count of parading, demonstrating or picketing in the Capitol Building in 2022, reports PEOPLE.

Pam has confirmed her plans to file a letter of rejection in response to Trump’s pardon.

“It’s an insult to the Capitol Police, to the rule of law and to the nation,” Hemphill the New York Times. “If I accept a pardon, I’m continuing their propaganda, their gaslighting and all their falsehoods they’re putting out there about Jan. 6.”
