Ashanti and Nelly are taking their love to the big screens following reports that the two have a docuseries in the works!
According to reports from Deadline, Peacock has ordered a new series to follow the life of the couple and their growing family. Sources state that the two began shooting for the series late last year and are still currently filming.
The new series is in partnership with Critical Content company, known for their work with Netflix and MTV’s Catfish. Though minimal details have been forwarded at this time, it has been confirmed that both Ashanti and Nelly serve as executive producers.
Nelly and Ashanti’s loved story has been an instant hit online in the last few years as fans continue to cheer them on.
However, their romance has been a bit overshadowed recently as social media users have dragged Nelly for performing at Donald Trump’s inauguration on January 20th.
A devoted fan page has since announced that they can no longer support Ashanti due to her affiliation with Nelly following his support of the Trump administration.
“In light of recent news about Nelly and the decisions he has made… I can no longer run @AshantiNews or support The Haynes in the direction they are going. It’s beyond disappointing.”
