Multiple Students Injured And One Deceased Following Shooting At Nashville High School!

A Nashville community is currently mourning the death of a female student following a tragic shooting at a local high school this week!

According to reports from CNN, 16-year-old Josselin Corea Escalante was fatally shot by 17-year-old Solomon Henderson on Wednesday morning around 11AM. Sources state that Solomon was armed with a pistol when he released multiple shots within the lunchroom area of Antioch High School.

Metro Nashville Police state that Solomon unalive himself after shooting additional classmates.

A male victim was left grazed following the incident with a wound to his arm. He was treated at a local hospital and later released confirmed by police. Another male student endured a facial injury after falling but was not shot.

“Violence has no place on Kick. We are actively working with law enforcement and taking all appropriate steps to support their investigation,” reads an issued statement.

According to reports from CNN, the tragic incident was partially live streamed on Kick. The company confirms that the account and video were “rapidly banned.”

An investigation is currently underway as officials continue to search for a motive.

The Homicide Unit has actively examined “very concerning online writings and social media posts” as they say could reveal clues to Solomon’s motive.

Josselin’s father has come forward following her heartbreaking death as he explained in spanish that his daughter always got good grades and enjoyed playing soccer.
