Skai Jackson is having an eventful week as she officially announced she’s pregnant with her first child, the next day her boyfriend was arrested for violating his parole!
According to reports from TMZ Deondre Burgin also allegedly known across social media as Yerky-Yerky was arrested Wednesday afternoon in Cincinnati, Ohio. An official police report details that he attempted to run as officers approached to pick him up on a juvenile parole violation warrant.
A video clip shared across Twitter (X) shows Deondre falling as he ran from officials. He is said to have cut his face on the concrete in his attempt to flee the scene. Officers then wrestled the father to be to the ground placing him on his stomach as they cuffed his wrists.
Deondre was cited for misdemeanor obstruction of official business and later released.
As we previously reported Skai confirmed earlier this week that she is expecting her first child.
Rumors circulated online earlier this year after Skai was arrested following a domestic dispute at Universal CityWalk in Hollywood as security noticed the couple arguing and beginning to fight.
Skai is said to have told the officers that the couple is engaged and that she is pregnant.
In an exclusive interview with PEOPLE magazine, Skai confirmed that she is pregnant.
“I’m thrilled to begin this new chapter in my life — embracing motherhood and diving into new acting projects. My heart is so full,” said the 22 year old.
The former Disney star hasn’t publicly commented on Deondre’s arrest at this time.
