Noir Nation, official details have been shared regarding Rich Homie Quan’s home-going services in Atlanta!
The rapper’s family has announced that they will be welcoming fans to pay their respect at the World Changers Church International in College Park, Georgia on Tuesday, September 17th. “We are extending the viewing of our beloved to his fans before home-going services,” reads a shared statement.
Earlier this week RHQ’s manager and father Corey Lamar shared that he had originally intended for the funeral service to be private in an effort to swiftly begin, “the healing process.”
However, in response to the outpour of love his son received from fans, Lamar had a change of heart. “Without the fans, there would be no Quan.”
Rich Homie Quan passed away earlier this month on September 5th after being discovered unresponsive by his girlfriend in their home. Audio from the girlfriend’s 911 call as she spoke with an operator has been released as she detailed that the 34-year-old showed no sign of life.
Baller Alert reports that an official autopsy has been completed but no details have been forwarded to the public at this time.
Sources state that RHQ’s funeral service is free to attend but tickets are required. Viewing is open to fans between the hours of 7 a.m. to 10 a.m.
All attendees will be instructed to remain seated after the viewing as doors will close for RHQ’s family at 10 a.m. Re-entry won’t be permitted. Furthermore, there will be a strict no-recording policy enforced.
“This homegoing for my son, I want it to be bigger than life. I want people to see the impact that Quan had on a lot of people,” Lamar said on the call.
