The tragic news was confirmed Thursday evening by his manager Tasha Felder on Instagram.
“It is truly sad, we loved him so much.”
“He has produced and worked with so many artists, that his sound will forever live. He loved his daughters @clubgodparenting, his music and his fans. We will [love] him forever,” reads the statement.
According to TMZ further details have been forwarded regarding BeatKing’s tragic passing. The Texas native born Justin Riley, passed away in a Houston-based hospital confirms his manager Felder who has stated that he suffered from a pulmonary embolism.
The 39-year-old is said to have been conducting an interview for Urban One-Radio One station on Thursday, August 15th when he fainted. He was then rushed to a local medical center for treatment.
Sadly, he passed away later that day with his children Jayla and Kayla by his bedside.
BeatKing is remembered for his string of club anthems and 2020 viral TikTok sensation “Then Leave”
He is survived by his wife and his two daughters. 🌹🙏🏿
