Cousins, Erica Mena has taken to social media to call out her Safaree regarding the upkeep of their little ones when they are in his care!
The former Love and Hip Hop cast member accuses Safaree of failing to groom their children properly and dressing them poorly in an attempt to hurt her.
“I really been sparring you for sooo long but enough it enough. You love social media attention so here it is,” wrote Erica in a series of Instagram stories alongside photos of their daughter and son’s hair.
“You already go months at a time in not seeing these babies by choice. You went two months this last go around. You finally pop up at Legends bday – empty handed and NEVER offering to pay half for anything like always. You came for your quick once every few months photo opportunity with them and bounced.”
Erica continues, “You finally decided to get them this past Saturday. Legend came their with his hair braided already. Clearly it needed to be taken out. But me just assuming since the so called auntie and grandma was in town my baby would be good. Right??”
“How is it no one thought to take my baby braids out and wash his hair?!!?! Especially since he was in and out a chlorine pool”.
“Sis & safaree You have no problem making sure you a bad b*tch all the time. Why can’t my babies be dressed and groomed properly like you do for you when you have them? Apart of being a bad bitch is really taking care of your kids so this is where I draw the line”
Erica added.”You know I can go on for days with all the spiteful shit you don’t do for your kids just because you think it’s a way to hurt me but not grooming and properly dressing your kids every time you have them it’s just honestly despicable.
The 36 year old’s comments come a couple of days after Safaree opened up about how his breakup from Nicki Minaj and her relationship with Meek Mill served as a dark point in his life.
When me and Nicki first broke up and she got with Meek, they were, like, the biggest in the world,” said Safaree while appearing on the We In Miami podcast. “We was all beefing and sh*t. You gotta think about — I had two of the biggest people in the world against me. Nobody wanted to be next to me. Nobody wanted to work with me or none of that sh*t. So it just made everything hard and that sh*t that was a dark time for me.”
Erica had hopped in The Shade Room’s comment section in reaction to Safaree’s statement to write, “… I will FOREVER be embarrassed. I gave sis these incredible beautiful babies. He don’t even talk or care about his seeds this much online or [in] real life.”
Erica continued to rant on Instagram, “I already be having to eat shit how you purposely dress my kids.”
“so sloppy and cheap because you know that’s the one thing I take pride in outside their education. You literally do nothing for.”
Erica went on to accuse Safaree of not providing financial assistance to their children and skipping their son Legend’s birthday.
“Sis @safaree You finally decided to babysit your kids Saturday and by Monday you calling yourself putting them in “summer camp”. You know l pay 2700 a month for there education alone. That’s all year round.”
“You KNOW how I am about keeping their mind stimulated. You know l’m big on them having a routine- If you was going to take them to just only put them somewhere random, Why not bring them to the school you helped me pick out but don’t pay for???? “
“But really You barely see them as it is and it’s summertime. Why aren’t you indulging in your kids you NEVER really see even though you live 30 minutes away?! Why can’t they be dressed and groomed properly when they are with you?”
Erica began to trend on social media as folks accused her of still being in love with Safaree and using their children as an excuse to drag him.
